What we did
The door and frame were removed and replaced with a new FD60 fire door and frame.
The new installation included the appropriate fire door strips, a controlled closing mechanism and a vision panel to improve visibility for people approaching the doorway from either side.
Once installation was complete, IL Solutions arranged third-party certification and sign-off, managing the process through to completion.
The Result
The hotel now has a safe, certified fire door that is fit for purpose and meets the required specification.
